When I'm feeling down

When I'm feeling down

I withdraw into myself.

So if you don't hear from me 

or don't see as much of me as usual,

don't take it personally,

don't think I have 

fallen out with you. 

Alone in my own little world, 

I don't need to make excuses, 

I don't need to pretend.

It is my way of protecting myself.
