Unconditional love

A dog will teach you unconditional love.

If you can have that in your life, things won't be too bad.

Australian termites can build mounds twenty feet high and at least 100 feet wide.
Birds don’t urinate.
Ants never sleep. Also they don’t have lungs. Worker ants may live seven years and the queen may live as long as 15 years.
Horses and cows sleep while standing up.

He then made all the animals

the fish, the birds and bees.

And when at last He'd finished

not one was quite the same.

He said, "I'll walk this world of mine

and give each one a name."

And so He traveled far and wide

and everywhere He went,

a little creature followed Him

until it's strength was spent.

When all were named upon the earth

and in the sky and sea,

the little creature said, "Dear Lord,

there's not one left for me."

Kindly the Father said to him,

"I've left you to the end.

I've turned my own name back to front

and called you dog, My friend."

The dog has

an absolutely

uncanny knack

of knowing

not only what

we are thinking,

but also of what

we are feeling.

Such short little lives our pets have to spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting for us to come home each day. It is amazing how much love and laughter they bring into our lives and even how much closer we become with each other because of them.
