If one day you see me...

 

 If one day you see me,
Will you stop and say hello,
Or will you turn away from me,
Like I'm someone you don't know?
Will we stop and chat a while
And put the world to rights?
Or will we just remember
All the anger and the fights?
Will we talk about the weather
And what we've done today?
Will we share our news and chatter
In a happy Friendly way?
Or will your eyes be full of anger
Sorrow, bitter pain?
I wonder what will happen
If we ever meet again....
